Ohio Star Forge produces custom, closed die steel forgings for the automotive, bearing and fastener industries. Our state-of-the-art, Hatebur hot formers provide numerous cost advantages over other forming technologies, some of which include refined grain structures and close tolerancing for superior machinability and high production efficiency.

Ohio Star Forge specializes in carbon and alloy steel forgings within the 1 to 5 inch outside diameter size range. Our product capabilities include deep groove ball bearings, taper roller bearings, wheel hub units, fasteners, cold forming blanks, gear blanks, a variety of transmission parts and other automotive components. We also produce steel forgings for the off-highway industry, as well as balls that are used for various bearing applications. Additional markets and special forging needs can be serviced by our parent company, Daido Steel, which provides world leader experience with over 30 years in the specialty steel and forging industries.
