In addition to very close tolerances and high dimensional accuracy that reduces machining time, our cold rolling process also refines grain flow, which improves the yield and life of the product, providing our customers with a competitive edge.Cold rolling is done by shaping metal under extreme pressure, and provides the ability to produce unique and diverse shapes with a uniform, directional grain structure and refined grain size. These superior characteristics provide longer tooling life for our machining and OEM customers, and often times provides design ideas needed to reduce costs in the competitive automotive and bearing marketplace.
